border(less)
The series Border(less), created between 2008 and 2010, documents a hitchhiking journey through Iran, Kurdistan-Iraq, Syria, and Turkey, culminating in Australia. These documentary-style photographs depict subjects whose faces are obscured by white stripes, symbolising figurative geological borders and a protective veil of anonymity. This approach reflects the ongoing exploration of Queer identity and its perspective on political narratives, shaped by personal experiences of movement and expression.
